Gargoyle link (in the end of the article) points to general description of gargoyle and not to specific white wolf series definition.

The Tremere symbol is a stylized conjuring circle. A conjurer would stand in the triangular section, the so-called "Triangle of Art," and the conjured creature would appear within the circle.

  • Note* Hated by Malkavians? I would say their hatred by the Gangrel of Tzimice would be greater and more noteworthy than their hatred by Malkavians. Anyone care to explain?

yeah, no... if anyone would read the malkavian clanbook, or even just the stereo-types section in the core-book, you'd see that the malkavians almost LIKE the tremere. it's definitely the gangrel, tzimisce and nostferatu who hate them.

I think "Hated by Malkavians" should be removed or replaced with "Gangrel, Tzimiche, and Nosferatu." I have never read anything anywhere about Malkavians (as a whole) hating Tremere, Tremere dont use the malkavian blood to make gargoyles because of the insanity-factor of the Malkavian clan. Tremere tend to pretty much stay away from Malkavians in due to the fact that Malkavians sometimes see things more "clearly" than they would like. **On another note the "tremere logo" should also be fixed, I dont think the one at the present time... is the correct one. ;D

Removed 'hated by Malkavians' bit. Have never heard of that either. Feel free to add in 'Gangrel, Tzimizce, Nosferatu' bit if you like. -Sark

Re: Tremere Antribu, there still is one tremere antribu left,Goratix himself, whom is trapped within a mirror in the catacombs under mexico, what of course complicates the situation further, is that Tremere now occupies the body of goratix after saluot finally winning back the war re; Saulot diablerisation 203.33.163.46 03:30, 21 April 2007 (UTC) Brujahs Fury[reply]

  • "As the World of Darkness progressively diverged from Ars Magica's medieval Europe, certain elements of the backstory become problematic." Could someone please clarify this? I've never read any Ars Magica stuff, and only read, but never played, V:TM stuff.

Notability Explanation and Disagreement about Merging and / or Deletion

[edit]

The "Clans" in Vampire are equivalent to the character classes in Dungeons and Dragons, they are NOT just a story element. As wiki deems fit to allow the character classes of Dungeons and Dragons to have their own articles (Bard (Dungeons & Dragons), etc), there is no reason why the "character classes" of another exceedingly popular pen-and-paper RPG are not notable enough to have their own articles. Even more so since they ARE both Character Classes AND major elements of the story.

In addition, considering the large amounts of background info and game-based info on each of the clans, it is NOT feasible to merge them all into one article. In fact, if we were to do so the resulting article would be too big and then go against Wiki standards.

Give it up - the deletionists won't be satisfied until they've removed every interesting and useful article from wikipedia. I'm amazed these ones have lasted this long now that they've been targeted... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.142.130.19 (talk) 19:25, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
