Map
[edit]A controversy has erupted over the choice of map for this article. The two candidates are shown here, along with any others that other Wikipedians may choose to enter. Feel free to make any comments. The lower map may also appear in the corresponding Geography article for this country. Kelisi 16:54, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Plagiarism
[edit]This article, or large portions of it, appear to have been copied from Rex A. Hudson and Sandra W. Meditz, editors. Uruguay: A Country Study. Washington: GPO for the Library of Congress, 1990. (e.g., Climate for Geography of Uruguay#Climate, The Interior, Littoral, Greater Montevideo and Coast for Geography of Uruguay#Land use and settlement patterns)
Because the source is a U.S. Government publication, this does not appear to be a Wikipedia:Copyright violations problem. However, see the April 13, 2009 Wikipedia Signpost article titled Let's get serious about plagiarism and the proposed Wikipedia:Plagiarism giudeline. -- Boracay Bill (talk) 04:06, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
Maps/Templates
[edit]Hey oh. I thought I'd add some images to this page, as geography pages + images = plusgood. I'm considering removing two items before adding 3/4 images from Commons. First is the "Political map of Uruguay" - redundant (two other maps already present), off-topic (art. not about political divisions), second is the top "Topics of Uruguay" temp. - this duplicates the bottom navbox, and takes up space that could be used for informative images. Any objections? The Interior (Talk) 19:12, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
