[edit]I've read somewhere that government published images are in the public domain. But I don't know that for sure. If someone would like to follow up on that, it seems ripe for a bunch of USS Maine #1 images to be scooped up. ~ender - 2003-04-02 23:41 MST We can't ignore the opinion of the Commander-In-Chief, President Mc Kinley. In his official statement to the 55th Congress, about the sinking of the glorious ship, he reveals that it was Jose Barquin who sank the boat. He produced the explosion. This is, as far as I know, true. This is in a letter from Marix, Apendix F, who by the way was the first Jew to graduate from the Naval Academy.
