BTW, thanks for starting the Ninjutsu article. Cheers! --maveric149
Hi, I just created a stub article on Robert Conquest so you can document your objections to him there, instead of removing statements by him on History of the Soviet Union. Please let's try to be constructive and create some balanced articles about the Soviet Union. --Guppie
Thanks for the reading tips, I'll see if I can pick up a more pro-Stalin book (at least one not written by Conquest) in a few days. BTW, what's yor take on the Encyclopedia_of_Marxism? Do you consider it an "objective" (meaing reasonably neutral) source of information, or just another anti-Stalin propaganda site? The site seems pretty pro-Marx, anti-USSR, but I've just read a few articles there. --Guppie
Thanks for being open about your point of view (POV), which is libertarian communism. I think it always helps in a collaborative project when we put our cards on the table. I am a member of the Unification Church, which is undoubtedly the most anti-communist organization on the earth.
I'll try to be polite, though. :-)
As for your comment to Guppie:
- Guppie, LEAVE IT. I am serious. This is the way it was and until you can prove otherwise, this is way it should be. I am asking YOU not to start an edit war.
It sounds a bit like a schoolyard bully extorting lunch money from a smaller kid, and warning his victim not to "start anything", e.g., trying to grab his money back. Now, I'm not accusing you of anything -- but since I can't hear your voice or see your face I can only report the apparent tone of your words, i.e., the impression I get.
Your contributions will be appreciate much more if you adopt a less aggressive stance. --Ed Poor
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Eco. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Eco~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
