Curb Your Enthusiasm

[edit]

Was the Curb Your Enthusiasm season finale actually filmed in Bisbee, AZ? Some friends and I drove through Bisbee on a road trip out west and we all agreed, it looked nothing like the Bisbee in the show. Anyone? — Chrissnell 23:09, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bisbee was most populated city between St. Louis and SF?

[edit]

I keep reading that Bisbee was the most populous city between San Francisco and St. Louis in its heyday, the early 20th century. But Denver had a population of over 100,000 in the 1890s. Does anyone actually have a reference for this? Waljohnson 04:46, 20 September 2006 (UTC)walt johnson[reply]

Don't know why this has been left out, but Bisbee, AZ was the site of the worst killer bee attack in world history. It was featured in a show called Risk Takers on the Discovery Channel. Sept. 10, 2007. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.255.134.31 (talk) 00:46, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I had heard that Bisbee was the most populous city between San Francisco and El Paso - that would exclude Denver. David Olson Feb 19 2012. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.67.190.76 (talk) 05:56, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The same spurious claim (largest city between St. Louis and S.F.) was once put in the Tombstone, AZ article. I removed it in June 2008 after I discovered that, according to census data, Tombstone's population was always exceeded by: Kansas City, Omaha, Denver, and Salt Lake. Having spent time in a number of old mining towns,it seems to me that they all have similar bar room tales of exaggerated former importance, and sometimes these even worm their way into carelessly written local histories. Look at the census data. Plazak (talk) 14:11, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Postal 2 and Bisbee.

[edit]

I added an info about that Paradise (from Postal 2) was made on Bisbee, and I also left link to confirm, that I wrote to Vince a lot time ago with question about Paradise. Some bot deleted this. Please, give me access to add this info. http://img504.imageshack.us/img504/9278/postalsprawaparadisexl2.png
