I'm not clear about why NightCrawler is/is to be banned. The only good reason I can see for hardbanning is persistent vandalism. Offending "good" users doesn't seem to me to be sufficient justification, nor does being testy. The problems with User:Petermanchester look to me like the result of miscommunication and misunderstanding. And if you're serious about something you should get testy. User:Mathieugp and I have done some pretty good barracking of each other but that doesn't mean I think either that he is worthless or that his ideas are entirely wrong. As a distinguished Canadian political scientist has said, you don't talk about politics in a barber shop because there are razors lying around. This ain't a barber shop.

I didn't say you said he was worthless. People want to ban him, though, which implies that he's worthless. As we say in Canada, maudite marde de pape en plastique. Trontonian
