"In 1852, Nicholson was elected to the Victorian Legislative Assembly as the Member for North Bourke." The Legislative Assembly didn't exist in 1852. I will fact-check this article tonight. Adam 03:16, 6 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I think the original source must have meant the Legislative Council, which was established in 1851 to draft the constitution according to this. I'll make the change. --bainer 05:07, 6 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
