Before saving first edit

1. Ensure that the title of the section of User talk:Jerzy being edited (or the variation on it you intentionally chose) appears here: {{{1}}}, and that the previous discussion (or at least your side of it) appears below here;

   if that is not initially so, fix the double-braced call to User talk:Jerzy/TTmplt:

   1. move it to the top of the edit pane, and/or
   2. edit it to have

      the single character "|"

      and

      that section's title

      immediately following ".../TTmplt", and

   3. preview again.

2. Copy this from the preview to the summary-pane of this edit window:

   DON'T SAVE YET! -- Set up of talk-page section for use of sub-page talk scheme via [[User talk:Jerzy/{{{1}}}]] -- DON'T SAVE YET!

3. Set up tracking for the new discussion:
   1. Copy this from this preview into your paste buffer:

      * [[User talk:Jerzy/{{{1}}}]]

   2. Open a new window for User talk:Jerzy/tspl, and
      1. click its "Edit this page";
      2. move straight to the bottom of the page's edit pane;
      3. paste the buffer in;
      4. also, in its summary pane,
         1. type a plus-sign and a blank, then
         2. paste the buffer again;
      5. save that page.
4. Initiate the subpage:
   1. Link, by opening a new window, to [[User talk:Jerzy/{{{1}}}]], thereby starting the "preliminary edit" of that subpage.
   2. Copy into the edit-pane of that edit page, from this page's preview, the following line of text:

      {{subst:User talk:Jerzy/TTmplt1|{{{1}}}|{{{2}}}|{{{3}}}|{{{4}}}}}

   3. Remove from the edit pane of this page (if this is a section edit; or if not, from the appropriate section's portion of the edit page) all the text except
      1. its section heading and
      2. the line beginning "{{User talk:Jerzy/TTmplt", and
   4. Paste it instead at the bottom of the edit-pane of [[User talk:Jerzy/{{{1}}}]]'s edit page.
   5. Click "Show preview" on that page, and follow the instructions that appear in the preview that results.

When the preliminary edit and next edit of [[User talk:Jerzy/{{{1}}}]] are completed and correct,

1. Edit it again:
   1. Copy onto your paste buffer the material on the other window's edit pane, between the lines containing

      <!-- Start with next line -->

      and

      <!-- End with previous line -->

   2. Close the window without saving
2. Final Talk-page edit:
   1. Paste the buffer to the bottom of this page's edit-pane,
   2. Delete the detailed list of contributions (but leave the contributors alone)
   3. Remove everything after the section heading, down to and including the third 4-hyphen line from this page's edit pane, and
   4. save this page.
