Article or fan page?
[edit]Quoting current first paragraph:
Android Lust is the vision of its sole creator, Shikhee. Born in Bangladesh, schooled in England and in the United States, Shikhee's background is as varied as the music she creates: running the emotional gamut from loss to discovery, from regret to carnivorous loathing. Borrowing elements from a variety of styles Android Lust presents a blend of electronic rock music that is dark, icy, and fiercely emotional.
I understand most artists articles on WikiPedia were written by their fans, but this is really very far from NPOV. "From loss to discovery, from regret to carnivorous loathing"? Come on... RafaelLopez 19:44, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

-_- God... the music isn't "embraced by the Goth culture due to its themes of hurt, loneliness, emo, more emo....". It's embraced by Goth music fans, because it sometimes falls under the genre Darkwave, which is a type of Goth music. Geez...

"Her music is embraced by the gothic culture for its themes of hurt, loneliness, lust, rejection, impatience and anger, though Shikhee dislikes the 'goth' label."
This is completely untrue, just like the person above said. The Goth subculture is not about hurt, lust, rejection, etc...and is kind of insulting. This is looking very familiar to the IKEA incident. I'm not sure how many (if any) are familiar with that event, but its very reminiscent of it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by C6ra6zy6 (talk • contribs) 20:02, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Regardless of whether it insults Goths or not, stating that the Goth culture accepts her for such and such is definetly POV. Who makes up this "Goth Culture"? Does every Goth accept her? This line is entirely messed up, and the article is a mass of POV shit. Someone make the appropriate edits. Canutethegreat 23:34, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
I made some reasonably small edits to the page for NPOV violations. I also removed the portion of the introduction about its Gothic appeal, which seemed to be a point of contention. Parts of the article may still need to be made relevant, and there are still NPOV violations and a complete lack of citations. --17:07, 7 April 2008 (UTC)Foundling (talk)

[edit]Yes, they are friends. However, the correct spelling of her name as an artist is kaRIN. 158.174.226.96 (talk) 05:24, 27 December 2023 (UTC)
