[edit]Might this entire article be more appropriately placed as a section within the main Erasmus article?

I thought about that, but decided that in the end, it would be rather out of place there, since it is essentially not about Erasmus, but about that group of people all over Europe with whom he corresponded. Can't say I have real strong feelings on the matter... not enough to move it, anyhow. ;) I can see your reasoning in making it a separate entry.
