Please see these articles regarding the citizenship status of the Black Hebrews:

from MSNBC: http://www.religionnewsblog.com/archives/00003836.html

"JERUSALEM, July 29 — Israel has granted permanent resident status to the Black Hebrews, a group claiming descent from the Bible's lost tribes, after a 34-year struggle for recognition, an Interior Ministry spokeswoman said on Tuesday."

from CBS3 in Philadelphia: http://kyw.com/news/mideast_story_209161056.html

"DIMONA, Israel (AP) Israel's "Black Hebrews," a close-knit group of vegan polygamists who arrived in the country from the United States in 1969, are celebrating the government's announcement that they are finally eligible for citizenship in the Jewish state. "

When is it started?

Can you include when it started?

Moved Page

[edit]

Having looked through all the material, this page was simply about African Hebrew Israelite Nation of Jerusalem, who are not anti-semitic (i.e. serve in IDF although there are other Black Hebrew groups which are. This is a temporary measure because this page should be merged with Black Hebrew Israelites, some of whom are anti-semitic and some of whom are not. This needs sorting out.Harrypotter 21:06, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Revert

[edit]

This page is specifically (and only) about the Black Hebrews who live in Dimona. They are a different group from the ones listed on the page you merged into. The group in Dimona did not begin serving in the IDF until 2004. Ckessler 07:32, 4 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry but if you took the trouble to check Black Hebrew Israelites you will see there is a link to African Hebrew Israelite Nation of Jerusalem, which is the correct name for the specific group. The page redirected too then lists specific groups falling in the general category.Harrypotter 21:14, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Then you should move the page, so the history is preserved, not just cut and paste and re-direct. Jayjg (talk) 22:45, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
