– Having just added an article on the Kentucky Supreme Court justice James B. Stephenson, and found a few more items missing from the disambiguation page, I think that it is highly unlikely that this actor, with a relatively short career that ended eighty years ago can be the primary topic of this common combination of given name and surname. - Support per nomination. There are ten men listed upon the James Stephenson (disambiguation) page, with no indication that the actor's renown has remained at such level that it overwhelms the combined notability of the remaining nine men. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 23:57, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. I'm unsure about this one. The actor career may have been short, but he was an Oscar-nominated actor. He also has received 92% of the pageviews this year. --Quiz shows 16:04, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
- Pageviews are not the sole determiner of primacy, though. A long-serving state supreme court justice (just added, so with no views to compare) is at least as important historically as an actor with a career of a few years and one critically acclaimed role. BD2412 T 20:48, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
- Support - the educational significance of actors is pretty low on the whole Red Slash 01:03, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
