[edit]I've added the two by-election victors during this parliament and the one current vacancy to the bottom of the list. I realise that this makes the title of the list technically less accurate, but that seems to me to be a harmless effect. --rbrwr
- The MPs who happen to be hereditary peers are usually known as "Michael Ancram" and "John Thurso". Both their websites refer to them as such. Please keep the link texts as "Michael Ancram" and "John Thurso", even if the articles are actually in different places. Morwen 16:48, Feb 21, 2004 (UTC)
Roy Beggs, Roy Beggs Jnr.
[edit]Whoops - sorry about my mistaken last change. -Rwv37 13:27, May 3, 2004 (UTC)
I've just reverted User talk:Timrollpickering's change to Andrew Hunter's party affiliation. Whilst I've seen the news coverage of his move (eg [1]), Parliament's website still lists his as an Independent Conservative [2], and I think it's probably best to use that as the most appropriate source. — OwenBlacker 01:54, Dec 11, 2004 (UTC)
- Assuming the Parliament website is up to date - the POV cynic in me would note that the maintainers have better things to do on a Friday evening than edit pages to keep up with egotistical MPs anxious to get their names in the headlines, especially as he's just formalising an existing move. See [3], for the latest story about this - you will see he is now part of the parliamentary DUP. Morwen - Talk 10:27, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Indeed, that store wasn't up (that I could see), when I reverted it. I'll reword Timrollpickering's restoration of the change (cos it doesn't seem consistent with the other MPs), but I concede I was, perhaps, being a bit picky. :o) — OwenBlacker 12:47, Dec 11, 2004 (UTC)
