"Following the defeat of Constantine III"?
[edit]According to Gregory of Tours, the patrician Constantius, who was besieging Constantine III at Arles, was told of Jovinus' revolt during the fourth month of that siege. That would imply that Jovinus' elevation took place before the defeat of Constantine, not after. Abou 02:50, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
