The result of the debate was delete. Joyous 23:14, Mar 24, 2005 (UTC)
Nonsense. Can't find any Google hits for it. RickK 07:50, Mar 13, 2005 (UTC)
- Redir to Evan Hunter..aka Ed Mcbain.Saopaulo1 08:10, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. Original research. It might be a real colloquialism that refers to an actual dialect spoken in McBain, Michigan, although I can't find any supporting documentation for this claim. I'm willing to change my vote to keep if someone can substantiate the article. [1] --Viriditas | Talk 09:16, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. Unverifiable original research. --Angr 12:58, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete unless and until third party verifiability supplied - David Gerard 13:21, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. Unless third party sources are cited and verified. Zzyzx11 22:39, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete and redirect to McBain, unless someone can cite a peer-reviewed reference. I'm automatically skeptical of novel English dialects described in articles full of spelling errors. McBain has a disambig for the only two McBains I know of: Rainier Wolfcastle and McBain, Michigan. --TenOfAllTrades | Talk 01:01, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)
