Questions
[edit]Unanswered questions: there are nine children listed as musicians, who is the tenth member of the family? Why is the younger Carvin sometimes listed as junior and sometimes as III? Is Vicki still married to Marvin? Rmhermen 15:26, Jul 6, 2004 (UTC)
- I'm not certain who the 10th member of the family is, but I do believe Carvin has a son (who was in Winans Phase 2) and Vickie is no longer married to Marvin. I don't know exactly when they got divorced, but to confirm, on her Woman To Woman album, there is song called "We Need Your Love (Featuring My Husband Joe)" verbatim. — Souldier77 21:38, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
i would like ot know how Pop is doing, i have not seen him on TBN lately. - 15:58, 16 May 2007 12.14.169.141
From the article:
- Revision as of 00:14, 7 September 2007 (edit) (undo)204.193.205.226 (Talk):
- In "Buggin' Out" by A Tribe Called Quest, it is claimed that Phife Dawg's "got more rhymes than the Winans got family".
- Revision as of 18:58, 2 October 2007 (edit) (undo)65.36.8.39 (Talk):
- I believe it states that Phife has "got more rhymes than the Wayans got family."
So which is it? Pdfpdf 03:21, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Pop Winans ill for the past 4 months
[edit]I heard they were moving him to Nashville, how is his condition? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.231.103.112 (talk) 14:38, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
A separate Pop Winans article?
[edit]From what I've seen in this page, and in his obituaries, Pop was a distinguished artist in his own right. Would anybody like to start a wikipage for him? I could at least start it off, but I'm not really that familiar with his story, other than what I read here.

Odd
[edit]This whole article seems odd to me. If the various family members are 1=Music|notable, then they have articles of their own. If not, they do not, and the family connection seems somewhat spurious (except for the rather obvious internal wikilinks to denote such a connection). I am probably missing something here, but having removed some unsourced, potentially libellous ridden text earlier, what is this article actually purporting to do ?

Carvin Winans
[edit]There is a partially completed article about Carvin in the history of the redirect Carvin Winans. To have a separate article references need to show that he is notable separately from the family activities. —Anne Delong (talk) 01:22, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
- The whole family is a related scam. The famous ones (bebe/cece) stay away from the rest. 2607:FEA8:A75B:CD00:3138:42EE:801A:BB72 (talk) 17:59, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
